When inclement weather like severe storms, tornados, flooding, forest fires, and droughts strike South Dakota, many individuals, families and communities are left in difficult situations. That’s when LSS Disaster Response is here to help.

LSS Disaster Response works closely with state, local and other faith-based disaster relief programs when a disaster occurs in South Dakota. LSS is available to assist individuals, families, congregations and communities through difficult times like these, and work toward long-term recovery. LSS has staff trained and experienced in Critical Incident Stress Management throughout the state. They are ready to mobilize quickly to offer counseling, case management and volunteer management.

LSS serves people of all ages, faiths, races and economic status with professional and confidential services. We strive to care for, support and strengthen those who need, bringing a future filled with hope—a future of success to people of all ages, families of all kinds and communities of all sizes.
