Our adult services provide education and assistance to refugees and immigrants.
Workforce Development
This free service is for anyone who wants to get better at searching for and applying to jobs. Our staff will assist you with building a resume, filling out job applications and preparing for interviews. Our workforce development coordinator will meet with you to help you establish and achieve your career goals. To set up an appointment, contact info@sfmcc.org or 605-367-7401. Interpreting services are available on request.
Driver's Education
Driver education has been temporarily paused to assess and work with community providers to create a more comprehensive curriculum. We continue to provide translation services at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Please email info@sfmcc.org or call us at 605-367-7401 to learn more about translation services at your DMV appointment. There is a fee associated with translation services for the DMV.
Career Closet Program
Our Career Closet is a collection of career and work clothing for people entering or continuing in the workforce. The Closet relies on community donations of clean, gently worn men’s and women’s clothing. We also accept accessories such as jewelry, ties and shoes. Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Current needs include:
- men's shoes, black, non-slip, size 8-13
- women's dress shirts
- men's steel toe boots, size 8-13
- backpacks
