LSS Immigration Counseling Center

LSS Immigration Counseling Center is accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). LSS of South Dakota is recognized by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly known as the Immigration and Naturalization Service, INS). LSS employs attorneys who are members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Immigration Services

Individuals seeking assistance with immigration and/or citizenship issues are eligible for services based on the existence of a problem involving immigration and/or citizenship issues because of the individual's legal status. Those not eligible for services will be referred to other resources.

Immigration services include:

  • Initial consultation
  • USCIS document preparation
  • Asylum application
  • Photograph services for immigration and passport purposes
  • Liaison between clients and USCIS offices
  • Citizenship interview preparation
  • Citizenship classes

Client fees vary depending on the extent of services needed, and are separate from those established by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service, formerly called Immigration and Naturalization Service.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact LSS Center for New Americans by calling 605-731-2000 and ask for Immigration Services.
