Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). The NFCC promotes the national agenda for financially responsible behavior and builds capacity for its members to deliver the highest-quality financial education and counseling services. NFCC members can be identified by the NFCC member seal. This seal signifies high standards for agency accreditation, counselor certification and policies that ensure free or low-cost confidential services.

LSS is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. HUD’s mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination. The Department has approved this agency to provide: Financial Management/Budget Counseling, Rental Housing Counseling, Services for Homelessness, Pre-purchase Counseling, Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education Workshops, Mortgage Delinquency & Default Resolution Counseling, Predatory Lending Education Workshops and Rental Housing Education Workshops.
