“Sharing our Darfuri traditional dances made me happy. I come from a small country, and my children had never seen me perform these dances in public. It’s important that I don’t forget my culture so that my children can learn and remember. Videos of the group performing Darfuri dances were on YouTube, and it made my community in Darfur proud of their relatives in the United States.”
